Dilaceration is one of the most common complications of trauma to deciduous dentition. The possible causes of dilaceration are trauma and
developmental disturbances, while some authors suggest an association with some developmental syndromes. Dilaceration can be seen in
both the permanent and deciduous dentition. The present case report describes surgical repositioning of a dilacerated impacted maxillary
central incisor in a 9-year-old boy.
